I. SUMMARY
Accused of treason, Dr. Jose Rizal awaits trial and meets his government-appointed counsel, Luis Taviel de Andrade.
The two built the case and arguments for the defense as significant events in the central figures life prior to his incarceration unfold. Upon hearing his life story, Taviel begins to realize that he is not only innocent but he also exhibits in fact all the qualities of an ordinary man. When the mock trial unreels, Taviel is all set to act as the prime advocate for his client as Rizal himself is about to give an earth-moving speech to defend hi honor and address his countrymen.
Meanwhile, the Spaniards had done a plan ensuring that a guilty verdict would be give to Rizal. And that was what happened. But then the Katipuneros under the leadership of Andres Bonifacio had continued their struggle to fight for freedom.

Jose Rizal lets us know how our ancestors fought for our country's freedom. It lets us iscover the hardships and sacrifices our ancestors did just for us to be free.
